CANCELLATION POLICY 

 

If you cannot attend your appointment we kindly ask that you give us 48 hours notice so that we have the opportunity to give the spot to someone else. 

 

Cancellations must be via telephone only on 01323 379716, if you message on social media or any other form of communication and we do not see your message in time you may still be charged.

 

The charges for cancellations are as follows:

 

48 hours - 50% of the appointment (applicable to appointments over 2 hours only) 

24 hours - 50% of the appointment (applicable to appointments under 2 hours)

12 hours or less - 100% of the appointment (all appointments)

No shows - 100% of the appointment (all appointments)

 

There will be no exceptions due to it being extremely hard to fill appointments at such short notice. 

 

In some circumstances we may be able to fill your appointment and credit the charge back to your account (minus a £10 admin fee) to be used against your next appointment, but this is not always possible.

 

If you’re running late please call the salon, we will keep your appointment open for 15 minutes before it will be treated as a no show. If you are late, your treatment will be cut down accordingly due to other clients waiting.

 

If there is a charge on your account due to not complying with the cancellation policy you will be blocked from booking until this charge is cleared. Repeated no shows or late cancellations will be required to pay the full amount upfront for any future bookings.

 

If you wish to change the treatment you have booked to a different treatment, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. If the treatment is less time and you decide on the day, you may still be charged for the original treatment you had booked in line with the cancellation policy.

 

DEPOSITS AND CARD DETAILS

 

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings over £41. Bookings in December require a 50% deposit regardless of the spend.

 

You are required to pay this at time of booking online or via telephone, and it will be deducted from the final price on the day of your appointment. 

 

If your booking is over £41, 50% of the total booking will be deposited from the card you choose to store on file. If the payment fails you will receive a payment link via email. If this payment is not paid within 48 hours your booking will be automatically cancelled.

 

All deposits are non-refundable after 24 hours of booking but can be transferred with notice, if the cancellation policy is not complied with you will be required to pay a new deposit should you wish to book again.

 

When leaving payment details, your card will be stored safely on file and cannot be seen or accessed by employees of Features Beauty. This card will be charged in line with our booking and cancellation policy. If there are insufficient funds you will receive a payment link to clear the balance.

 

 If you wish to pay in full prior to your appointment, please see your email confirmation for the payment link. 

 

APPOINTMENTS 

 

When booking your appointment online please ensure that you have selected the correct treatments. Should you require any add-ons such as nail art (including French) or removal of gels done elsewhere, this should be added on at time of booking or there will not be enough allocated time. If you are booking over the phone please ensure you let us know.

 

Please do not bring food, children or pets to the salon unless agreed prior, the salon is a busy environment with dangerous products and tools if not handled by a professional. Under no circumstances can pets be brought into the treatments rooms due to them being sterile for SPMU/tattooing. It’s also everyone's chance to relax without distractions.

 

All appointments will require you to fill out a consultation form depending on the treatment you have booked. These will be sent to you via email before your appointment, please check your junk folder for these closer to the time and ensure this is filled out prior. Consultation forms are a legal requirement, so it’s imperative that this is completed. 

 

PATCH TESTS

 

If you have not been to Features Beauty for the treatment you have booked and it includes tinting, perming or SPMU you will be legally required to have a patch test at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. You will then be asked to complete a patch test form within your appointment. 

 

Please pop into the salon within our opening times, it is the clients responsibility to ensure this is completed. 

 

If you are not local or our opening hours do not fit within your schedule please let us know at least 5 days prior and we can post one to you. 

 

Please note that if you arrive to your appointment and you have not had a patch test the treatment cannot go ahead and you will be charged in line with the cancellation policy. 

 

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS

 

Independent Contractors at Features Beauty are classed as separate businesses and handle all deposits/payments separately. Should you have any questions, complaints or queries regarding booked, or past appointments, please contact the company directly. Features Beauty accepts no liability for these businesses. Your details will be shared to the business in order to fulfil your booking.
